Has anyone ever got that stinking piece of stink at zappa.com they call
Zappa Radio to work? Ever? Anyone? I did it once but it was years ago
and it only worked once.
I sure would like to listen to FZ at work without having to resort to
buying an ipod or any other otherwise useless gadget. Besides, zappa
radio plays FZ albums I don't have or intend to buy.

Works for me most of the time. Occasional problems but rare.

Same here. On more than one workday I've turned
it on and just let it play.

Yep it great at work, they probably have about 30 albums in rotation so
there's no too much overlap in a day or two span.

I see other folks in the thread saying it works for them, but I've had
the same issue as you, Ville. Any time I've loaded it up in the last
handful of years, I get squat. Doesn't matter if it's Firefox or IE,
Windows 98 through Windows XP. Has worked maybe two times, ever.
No biggie since I listen to my own Zappa collection over the internet
with Slimserver, but indeed sucketh arse nonetheless.

Well, the problem must be with my connection both at home and at work.
In fact, at work I haven't got any internet radio stations to work, and
that's probably because I'm connected to a big nation-wide corporate
network.
At home it must be the infamous pppoe internet connection. It has
already stopped me from switching to linux, because no linux version yet
has succeeded in configuring pppoe to work.
Theh reason why I stick to pppoe and have not switched over to real
broadband is that I get pppoe at a relatively cheap price. Ol' stingy me.

I don't remember the last time I used it, but I never had a prob with
it. I used win98 (not the good one) and IE.
I eventually decided it didn't mean much to me since I have all the
current'y available CDs and some that are out of print.
