As pleasing or a t riffle better than Joe's Corsage, IMHO.
Reminds me of running home with the newly released Waka Jawaka knowing
the style had changed radically from the recent "comedy music" He had
been doing. I plopped the LP down on my Garrard SL72 turntable and
cranked up the volume on my Lafayette amplifier to hear wonderful music
from my custom Utah speakers...
Life was good in 1972.

I'm waiting for something as good as The Lost Episodes.
Is it as good as The Lost Episodes?

While I'm pretty sure I will enjoy the hell out of it on subsequent
listenings, to be honest, my first listen to the album today left me a
little disappointed, thinking of what could have been. I guess I'm too
negative sometimes and tend to focus more on the things that bother me
when I finally get an album as anticipated as this one was. There's the
audible edits in "Farther Oblivion", the fact that there's no vocal
section in "Rollo", that there's no "Little Dots", there's no super
astonishing presence of (perhaps) the only known recording of
"Waka/Jawaka". My first listen left me feeling like "Ok, a long awaited
official release of a few nice things and a lot of horn solos. Hmph."
I guess in some way I get the feeling that if Spencer Chrislu really did
slap together a two-disc Petite Wazoo release which is just sitting on a
shelf somewhere since he left the organization, it probably would have
stomped this release and include more of the above mentioned "if only's."
But, yeah, like I said, I'm still pretty sure that the next several
times I listen to this album, it's going to be blowing my mind.

mWo. It's not just the coolest, it's fa lyfe, so survey says
whether you like it or don't like it, never E-e-e-ver tell
me he did *not* just SMELL what mWo 3:16 reeks of.

Last night when I got home I excitedly opened the very well shrink
wrapped package that contained ID and went upstairs to play it on my
computer. (There is no embellishment here) We had 4 electrical power
interuptions within 30 minutes, some lasting severqal minutes in
duration. When the power came back for what I believed was its
restored state I attempted to turn on the computer but another, longer
outage occurred. A call to our local eletric service produced a
message that power would be restored fully by 11:30PM. Went to sleep,
here I am, going to listen when I get to work.

Since I'm not into tapes or own many boots I have only the original
releases and concerts I attended to go by. I would hope that this is the
best sounding and best examples of this bad they came up with.
