I like this CD as far as being a composer goes, but to me it is a sign
that Zappa's sruff is in the wrong hands. So many other things shoud
be released. This has no remix, the voices low, music high. It has a
great cover concept. But my goodness., Frank must be spinning in his
grave.

I don't think they had much of a choice. It was recorded to cassette
probably with one microphone. Not a lot there to remix.

mWo. It's not just the coolest, it's fa lyfe, so survey says
whether you like it or don't like it, never E-e-e-ver tell
me he did *not* just SMELL what mWo 3:16 reeks of.

No, but there is certainly a fuckton of stuff they could have released
instead of it. How friggin' long does it take to prepare a live show for
release anyway? I imagine the ZFT's meetings to be like the People's Front
of Judea meetings in 'Life of Brian'.
"Right. This calls for an immediate discussion."

Between the releases FZ prepared and the unofficial recordings, there
are tons of live shows around. It seems fine to me to look for stuff
in the vault no one would have thought existed (although it's too bad
they aren't doing it at a quicker pace with lower prices and better
customer service).
Today I ordered Domage and Imaginary Diseases - my first purchase of
any FZ releases not assembled by FZ. Hoping for the best...

With the Joe's series well launched, I would
expect what we see on Vaulternative to continue
to be the really fanatic, deep in the vault stuff -
like rehearsal tapes. Some people want it. I
know we've said we did.
Of course this simply wouldn't be aff-z without
a lot of people bitching about the stuff that _does_
come out.

I'd say that calling IMAGINARY DISEASES a non-FZ assembled release is an
over-sight when zappa.com reports thusly:
=="Composed/Produced/Performed/Edited/Mixed/Tweaked by Frank Zappa!"==
Yay!

I want a collage of every single noise every band ever made when Frank
jammed his middle finger into the air!
Just for those special occasions, y'know.

Was FZ buried or cremated?
In the latter case you would have to say:
'Frank must be whirling in his urn.'
