Now that it's finished, what do you think?
I liked the concept and overall the writing and characterization were
above average for SW novels, but Book 3 was a huge disappointment in
terms of concluding the character arcs, such as Jacen's deceit, Tenel
Ka's pregnancy, Ben's mind wipe, Jaina & Zek's relationship to each
other and to the hive, and the fate of Jagged Fel. Far too much left
hanging after a three book series. It seems to me this could have
easily been one long novel.
(Todd, I know you were reading this, so I'll be interested in hearing
from you. Tried replying to the thread you started last year on the
same topic, but it appears Google has a cut off date after which you
can't reply to older messages. But with the same subject, perhaps it
will be filed under that thread.)
