Did Denny Crane drown his wife also? That would be another reference!

Did you see the interviews they did with Shatner right after that
happened? I love the man, but I honestly don't think he's that great
an actor to have faked the grief and sadness he showed then. :*(
If he is, he deserved an Oscar for his performance.

Shatner and Auberjonois were both great on that episode, and in the
series in general. They had rage like Shakespearean kings in that
scene, and the one with the Celtics tickets was very well done. Shatner
deserves his Emmy and all the kudos he gets, and the cast on that show
is so very, very strong (Ditto the writing.) Auberjonois has had a lot
to work with the past few weeks, too. Good, good stuff.
Oh, and James Spader is always great, too.

Yeah, that show is one of the few that is actually fun to watch. :)

Oh, you were there and saw him not drown her?

You were there and saw him do it? Asking someone to prove a negative to
a wild accusation is the stuff of failed arguments, sir. As a human
being, Shatner deserves a lot better.

That's exactly what Shatner was thinking before he saved himself a lot
of alimony. Thanks gods he always had custody of his toupee.
