After finally getting around to watching last Sunday's episode, I was
shocked to find my DVR recording stopped as Grandpa was telling how he
switched the labels on the DNA samples.
What happened after that?!?!?

Grampa wrote his name on the top of the heart transplant list, then
Homer called into the giant feeding tube to "send up two hams"; he bit
into one, said it was cold, put it back in the tube, and blew it back
down. That's it.
I always add 2 minutes before and 3 minutes after recording Simpsons
episodes (usually, it's 2 before and 2 after for network shows, but I
was burned a few of times in the past couple of seasons).

Also, the credits featured an outtake: Homer on the boat with Mason, trying
to make up for lost time. Homer asks him to teach him the stove is hot.
They disappear into the galley, where Mason keeps putting Homer's hand on
the hot stove and telling him not to do it. Cut to black. (Now that I think
about it, it's somewhat similar to the execution of the credits gag in
EABF03, with Lisa's diary.)

1. I don't get the Ahoy reference.
2. What is a DVR? Maybe the belts on your DVR are getting old and
flaccid, and need to be replaced.

He put a thimbleful of vegetable oil in the Wright Brothers plane and
flew all the way to Kitty Hawk. That's how we won the Civil War, you
know. Back in 18-dickety-two. You see the Kaiser ....

MESSED UP!
My DVR did the same thing, it's because f***ing FOX is very sloppy with
their timing of their schedule (shows begin either early or end late.) You
CAN set the DVR to begin recording a minute or two before the show starts
and/or end a minute or two after, but then you clip off the ending of any
show that airs right before The Simpsons or the beginning of any show that
starts right after it.
