Ixnay. Living in the present is like trying to sit on the edge of
a razor. Plus the present totally sucks.

New word of the day:

"hikikomori"

-- translates as "withdrawal" and refers to a person sequestered in his
room for six months or longer with no social life beyond his home. (The
word is a noun that describes both the problem and the person suffering
from it and is also an adjective, like "alcoholic.")

A leading psychiatrist claims that one million Japanese are hikikomori,
which, if true, translates into roughly 1 percent of the population.

South Korea and Taiwan have reported a scattering of hikikomori, and
isolated cases may have always existed in Japan. But only in the last
decade and only in Japan has hikikomori become a social phenomenon. Like
anorexia, which has been largely limited to Western cultures, hikikomori
is a culturebound syndrome that thrives in one particular country during
a particular moment in its history.

I keep sending it back but it keeps getting returned for
insufficient postage, forwarding address expired,
attempted not known, no one by that name at this
address, deceased, etc., etc.

I'm beginning to think the Past is avoiding me because
it has something to hide in its past. I'd try the Future,
except that already sucks worse than the Present.

There are currently over a million people in America in prisons of one
sort or another, and one million japanese Hikikomori. I thought If we
could get them connected somehow with those poor Japanese teenagers
condemned to stay in thier rooms living a life of luxury supported by
their parents into some kind of cultural exchange. It might relieve some
of the boredom of our prisoners and entertain the Japanese ...

A sordid pursuit, though necessary. One way to make it
more challenging, not to mention fun and wholesome, is
to do it with "safe search filtering" set to "strict". It's still
possible to find excellent filth, but it takes some work.

I've often observed that the moral fiber of today's youth
is adversely affected by the ease with which porn may be
obtained. In my day, those not of age had to steal it from
under the eyes of vigilant shopkeepers who could instantly
kill Gentile kids with a Yiddish curse.

It's a good idea to make porn harder to get. It builds
character while adding to the relish of the forbidden fruit.

I'm using you as an example for others who have not yet
debased their God-given ability to search for and acquire
porn in the way He intended.
