Saturday evening I took down the $5 bill with Lincoln on it above
my desk and replaced it with a half hour Berkeley Bread note. The
front of the note is currently up, featuring half a loaf of bread.

Same to you! The timestamp on your message gives me the idea
that you are several time zones to the east of me.

Last evening I collected signatures at the 9/11 Truth committee
meeting in San Francisco. I've now gathered about 20 of the 150
signatures I need to get on the California Green Party ballot
as a Candidate for U. S. Senator.

Due to the treat of toronto, new year 2006 began everywhere at 00:00 GMT.

Isn't that story exhausted? What could they fit into the storyline as
a sequel?
I would much rather like to see a book series over the movie. Or
perhaps a radio play...

A belatedly hoopy new year from me. I think I actually said before but
I don't really remember - I seem to be using awfully long time to
catch up on afda...

What do you mean ? We haven't seen it yet ! There are all the loose ends
from the first film that need to be resolved. Zaphod's head. Humma
whatsizname and all that.

You mean a book of the movie ? Unlikely as they already had a movie tie-in
novel - and the copyright problems would be dreadful.

Kavula I think.
Also that restaurant. Perhaps there might be material for a sequel ;-)

Oh, it didn't necessarily have to be the same exact story. Someone
should write a series loosely based on the movie, like 5 books or so ;-)

Lunchtime doubly so!
Oh, have some peanuts everyone. You might have lost some salt and
protein.

Well, happy relativieth new year to all of you at any given and soothable
time. I just reengaged my career following a well deserved holiday at the
island of Teneriffe on monday morning. I paid for the full week, but the
illusion/inapproximate pain only lasted me ((-1/(eternity))x1^n), (as it was
(my first visit)).

I did suggest that someone could write new books in the HHGG universe, but
the idea wasn't liked. Folk said they liked HHGG because it was DNA's
writing they liked and if it wasn't him then they wouldn't like it. If the
films carry on being successful I wonder if they'd mind having further
stories ?

I would be extremely sceptic, I think. I wouldn't be able to say
beforehand if it was a good idea, of course - I'm not really sure
whether I would dare to read them...
Anyway, I think I was just being sarcastic, referring to DNA's works
:-)
