I'm sure you will! Enjoy. A word of warning, don't read it on a public
bus or the like, chances are you will embarrass yourself by laughing out
loud... I know it's one of the fewv books that have had me laughing out
loud :-)

:P Thanks for the info.

About usenet, I'm stuck on godawful yahoo groups - now, I hate it, but
i can find -no- decent free usenet server. Suggestions on a server and
a good client are welcome :)

Your headers tell me you mean Google Groups :-)

A tiny hint: Using "Show options" and then "Reply" from there instead of
the normal reply let's you quote parts of the post, which is friendlier
to the rest of us...

I've used news.aioe.org (see <URL:http://news.aioe.org/>) for a while,
it works, but you can post only 25 messages per day. Also there are some
strange limits on your posts sometimes and it seems to have some
downtime from time to other. But, hey, it's free!

The IP address you're posting from seems to be a Tiscali adsl-address.
Are you sure access to a Tiscale usenet server isn't provided in your
internet package?

Anyway, welcome to the froup! I hope you will stay and enjoy!

Be warned: Although the froup tends mostly to be off topic, out posts
may contain spoilers without warning. However, since the style of adams
isn't really stories but more independant sketches, there isn't much to
spoil. But just to warn you, reading the froup may be dangerous to
surprises :-)

And finally, in the tradition of afda: Welcome! Tea?

For a moment I misread this as "Residents fan".

(Are there any Residents fans in afda? Jacob was, but Jacob's gone)

I'll keep that in mind, I'm a sucker for spoilers.

Hmm... I'll have a look. It may be in the inter-dimensional shelf behind
the InsaniTea and the TotalliTea... Could someone put the kettle on

Oh. Ah. Well. It was the best I could find back when individual.net
stopped its free service. It may be that something better has turned up
since then, but my ISPs newsservice has gotten reliable enough for me to
actually use it... :-)

Now that kettle has boiled itself entirely empty just because I never

Hint: dtext.news.tele.dk is better than just news.tele.dk as it does
not have to do retention for all the binary groups. At least it was
the last time I was a customer...

Which, when I think of it, was a rather long time ago...

Make it from scratch. Start off with twice as much Hydrogen as Oxygen,
combine and voila! Fresh water.

Oh, I made mine from heating calcium hydroxide and collecting the
vapors. I haven't got all this gas handling equipment like a good

Oh, I'm sure your method would work just fine :-)

As a child my grandfather and I made hydrogen from tin and
hydrocholric acid and then lighted it with a match. We didn't collect
the water, I presume was the product...
