I got digital cable again!
I see that TechTV show screen savers is off the air. Martin Sargent and Leo
Laporte are gone.
What the hell happened?!
Am I in an some kind of creepy alternate future like in Back to the Future
part 2?!
And, by the way, I hate what they did to the techtv site.
I wish I was telekinetic so I could kick the producers in the nuts with my
thoughts.

Tech TV as you knew it has been gone for a long time, a very long
time. If you want to here what Leo and company are up to go to the
podcasts part of iTunes and sign up for the TWIT-The Week in
Technology podcast.
TecTV got sold to comcast who merged it with G4 and basically gutted
it for its cable and satellite slots. I think they may still have the
reruns of the Canadian version of Call For Help that Leo does but I
haven't checked it out recently.

On August 29, 2005, following months of public outcry, G4 (which, as
part of its licensing agreement with Rogers Media, held the right of first
refusal) began airing the show in the United States. However, in December
2005, G4 "shelved" Call For Help indefinitely, meaning that the show is
acknowledged in the network's programming lineup, but is not actually
scheduled to air. On December 17, 2005, Leo Laporte announced on his KFI Los
Angeles radio show that G4 is dropping Call For Help from its lineup at the
end of 2005. Petitions are available to make G4 Media rethink its decision.
And now they have reruns of Star Trek and other none related tech
shows, WTF!

Isn't Screen Savers still around? Now it's known as "Attack of the Show".
