Some of you may recognise me from places like Draconic, Draconomicon,
Dragon Realms, Tysha's Dragon Forums, Other Haven, and Near To The Sky,
but for those who don't, I'm cloakable (duh), and I'm a draconic
otherkin. I'll be answering questions.

*puts the oracle's cloak on cloakable*

How many dragons does it take to make a dominance?
How does a dragon fly without wings?
How are two dragons like a heart?
Which way is Draco - up, or down?
Why do dragons chase birds?
Why do dragons love to tell stories?

*waits patiently for the answers to her questions* :)

Oh, welcome to the Dominance, btw.

Technically, yes. Although the line got blurred some time ago. It's
been a long time (longer than my time here) since Here was refered to

By the way, all my greeting cookies are Cookies of Chaos. They're
guaranteed delicious (they're whatever flavor you'll enjoy most at the
time, every time), and they perpetually regenerate so no more than a
single bite's gone no matter how you eat it (even if you swallow it
whole - then it just reappears in your hand!).

Hmm...I've never had the urge to chase birds. I didn't know that other
dragons did.

Just off the top of my head, I'd say I hoard gold because it's pretty,
it's valuable, it makes a nice bed, it smells good, it's valuable, it's
pretty, and it's valuable. See, seven good reasons right there! ]:-8)~

My, my, where are my manners? Don't answer that, for I imagine they
are probably off having a bit of tea with my sanity, a left sock, and a

Welcome, my cloakable (and Quel-cloaked I see) friend, to Tpommmnito.
In case anyone has forgotten and cares, that is short for The Place of
Many Many Marvelous Names Including This One. Tpommmnito. Yeah.

Anyway, as you've no doubt already found out, one tradition of the
denizens Here is to greet our visitors, whether nuttes or fruites, with
a gift... and the most popular gifts around here are comestible. In
this fashion, I present a tray of freshly-baked minty dark-chocolate
macadamia-nut muffins, with just a touch of dragon-nip. Which is, by
the way, not only the first newcoming gift baked in my new telepathic
oven (a generous gift from Flame Stryke), but also a departure from my
normal batch of nearly-famously-hyphenated-and-supremely-delicious
fudgy brownies. Which, of course, I also brought. I'm not sure if
they're as good as my old batch but they're still plenty good. There's
just something about my old oven that made those brownies fabulous.

On that note, welcome to Here. May your stay, whether long or short,
be an enjoyable one.

Same.

"Besides, some treasure is veery good eating."
~Kacdaninymila, Gold Dragon (Draconomicon, page 27)

Or the other quote on the same page:
"Dragons lust for treasure because, at heart, they are nothing but
large, reptilian jackdaws."
~Alrod Duart, sage
That one always makes me giggle.

*Takes a muffin and eats.*
Mm! This is good! The dragon nip is a fantastic addition.
*Eats another. Saves three for later. And eats one.*

I disagree with both of the above, though...I know Quelonzia likes her PB&E
sandwiches, but I think treasure is for hoarding, not for eating. And that
other fool has no idea what he's talking about.

(For some reason, the "How big is the pile?" sidebar in the appendix always
amused me, though...)

So do I, which is why I find them funny.

Lol, I'll have to read up on that part.
I do like the hoard scarabs though. I've tried, but failed, to let my
DM let me have one (or several) as "pets." You also can't play them as
monster chracters }:=3( as I might have done for an arena combat
("Buhahaha! I am a hoard of beetles! Tremble before us!")

Given the context, either "hoard" or "horde" might be considered correct
here. ];-8)~

I find the idea amusing, although I agree with your DM--they're vermin, and
have no intelligence (can't even be Awakened). I'd definitely use them in
a game though...of course, I'm not in a game, so that's somewhat moot.

True, but even just *having* one would have been cool. Have it crawl
around on my half-draggie character... }:=3D
If we run across them--ever--I am SO keeping one.

You'd probably want to keep it in a jar or something most of the time--
you don't have to worry about it burrowing into you, but your companions
might....

The artificer prolly won't care much, what with being made of wood and
metal it wouldn't try.
*Wonders if any of the other characters have natural armor, decides
that most don't.*
Might have to keep it in a jar, but hey, I'll keep one. }:=3D
