I figured we might as well have thread foir this, if we don't already -
I don't get to read much here lately.
In any case, the first x-mas card arrived to me today - from Sid. Thank
you, Sid.
I've also written and posted my cards tyoday, so you might even get
them in time.

few days ago... with 'house demolished'. Now that's cool. (apparently
the returned card was stuck in the canberra mail exchange for almost
two months...
I shall aim to include it in this years sendings... which will happen
any month now!

Yes, my previous house was demolished. By a yellow tractor.

In Singapore houses are demolished if they get too old. (in my example
10-15 years). A concrete Blade Runner, if you will.

To be fair, there are quite a few buildings which are older. It's just
a) There's always demolition and construction going on in Singapore b)
People are very particular about living in "new" houses and c) Housing
(especially private condos but also public housing to some extent) is
seen by a large portion of the population as an investment.
