Does anybody have any info on the new Star Wars tv show that is coming
out? I tried StarWars.com; but got nothing. Anything you can tell me me
would be cool. Thanks.

There should be news items about it on StarWars.com and probably more
(including rumours) on TheForce.net and a bazillion other places.
There are currently two planned Star Wars TV shows:
- An animated show using 3D computer graphics. This show will be
based during the Clone Wars time period and is being worked on
now for possible release next year. Basically it's likely to be
Starship Troopers: Roughnecks in the Star Wars universe.
- A live action show set in the teim period between Episode III
and Episode IV. The plan is to have 100 hour-long episodes to
start with. Not much is known about this one yet and work
isn't really due to start on it until late 2006 or 2007. What
is known is that it will NOT be about any of the main movie
characters (no Luke, no Obi-Wan, no Vader, no Emperor ... with
perhaps the exception of an occassional guest star role), but
is about one of the lesser characters we have already seen in
the movies - bets are on Boba Fett.
If these shows are successful there will be more of these and other
possible spin-off shows and maybe even spin-off movies (like the Ewoks
movies they won't be part of the saga).
While we're on it, the other (old) news story is the re-re-release of
the Saga in cinemas after it has been processed through a new technique
to make 2D movies into 3D ones. The idea was to re-re-release one a
year, but there's no definite timeframe as to when.

For the live action show, I've also heard a lot of talk about Boba Fett
being a main character. Rick McCallum has said it's about a fan
favorite that hasn't gotten much attention in the movie. It takes
place after Episode III and before Episode IV. Apparently many of the
main actors have said they would be glad to make guest appearances
though, Including Ian McDiarmid (Palpatine).

There's many "fan favourites" that were small roles in the movies: Boba
Fett, Aurra Sing, etc. :-)
