Cross-posting to AFT as well
(probably easier to find an audience there, anyway)

I agree -- a week to catch up a little would be nice.

I agree as well, though only because of the problems in RABT at the
moment (I find it easiest to kill all the posts that flood in within a
timeframe of a few minutes, though that may pick up genuine posts as
well). Just allowing time for people to catch up? That is already built
into the schedule! Though admittedly there was meant to be one such
break about now, but it got dropped because the whole project started a
week late...

Anyway, hopefully Greg H (who is doing the next chapter summary and
intro) will read this. I'll e-mail him as well. So if he gets the
message in time, we should expect the next CotW thread (Of the Coming of
the Elves and the Captivity of Melkor) around about the 28th November
(or maybe a few days before that).
I propose that after that we go back to the normal schedule. In other
words, the ultra-short chapter 'Of Thingol and Melian' should have its
thread started before 5th December, so that 'Of Eldamar and the Princes
of the Eldalie' can start on time in the week beginning 5th December.
But a more pressing problem is finding people to do those chapters! I'll
start e-mailing the reserve list and other people I have down as
volunteers.
