Sorry if this has been discussed at length, but there is a beautiful relaxed
chat with DNA (and Kevin Davies?) as an Easter Egg on the new Dr Who DVD.
All about DNA and Ken Grieve's (renowned director and Scottish ex-hippie
p!ss artist) all-night bar tour of Paris and - almost - West Berlin (on the
same night).
Mr Adams at his shy-amusing best. With beer.

By "the new Dr Who DVD", what actually is it called?
Let me try that again:
If, say, I was going to a shop that purveys DVDs and were to ask for
this DVD by name, what name would I be asking for?

I could, true. But when asked to confirm which one I mean, I don't
suppose this kind of conversation is overly helpful to the assistant:
Assistant: "Ah, do you mean $Title?"
Me: "I don't know. I want the one with the easter egg on it that's got
Douglas Adams chatting about stuff."

You: You don't know which one that is?
Assistant: Who's Douglas Adams?
You: *Stab*
Headline next day: "Crazed Hitchhiker Stabs Shop Clerk in Hunt for
Easter Egg."
That said I'd probably buy the paper with a headline like that.

I pay attention every time I meet the word "hitchhiker". Unfortunately
it seldom pays off by being accompanied by a good hitchhiker-story.

And if the matter should be taken up by some journalist or police
officer it would be handled like UFO sightings and thus never be taken
serious.

Yeah, but since there's only six[1] people on usenet it's not like it
matters that we talk about it.

It will do as an approximation. As usenet is non-measureable (except
for indexing) that can be seen as a solid fact (or absense thereof)
and so usenet *do* consist of six people.
Still, a lot of talk about something secret goes on. The last four
people will have to make sure the knowledge of the nuclear arsenal
does not spread outside of usenet (I promise not to tell it, I assume
Uncle Lloyd won't).

Also, make sure to stock 9 volt batteries. The SEP shouldn't run out
of power or the secret would be revealed.
