So quiet in here...

Where are people? Something exciting must be going on?

I am trying to do my master degree at last. I just discovered it
actually requires *effort* to be done. There just isn't an easy way...

Perhaps that was why I heard so many deadlines wooshing by.

Well, where people are in general I cannot answer. But nothing
exciting has been going. Nope. If I had to describe my day by choosing
a color, I would choose 'drab' .

Good luck with that.

Ditto.

I havn't been posting regularly in AFDA since before I moved two years
ago and my internet connection went away.

I poked my head back in a few months ago but it was very quiet, I've
been lurking since.

I'll buy the next round of tea and share a tale of if people bring some

We could try to invent this wheel thingy (whatever it will be good

Obviously the best thing to do would be to make the wheel out of a
psychomimetic material, so that it always appeared to you as the colour
you most want it to be at the time when you look at it. Simple, really!

This evening I went to a critical mass ride in Palo Alto.
It started at a bus station where the lights were constantly
changing color. First they would be green for a second, then
yellow for a second, then orange for a second, then red for
a second, the purple for a second, the blue for a second, and
then the pattern would repeat. I reccomend that if you can't
decided on the RIGHT color.

Ah, well, yes, but I understand that psychomimetic material is also the
_shape_ you want it to bee whenever you look at it, and ome of the
tech-guys claim that a fixed shape of a wheel seems to have some purpose.

I guess that really depends on wether you want this wheel thingy to have
a purpose, have you decided if that is really important yet?

That is rather crucial. I was thinking more along the lines of
marketing. Should we do a video commercial or go mostly for
newspapers?

Yeah, let's do that.

Oh, we might actually have to invent the train some day. Minor
problem, we'll just day that later if it shows up to be necessary.

I'm a fan of making fliers on your home computer, Xeroxing
them at the copy shop on recycled paper, and then using their
gilotine to cut out the half page fliers. Then we can hand
them out at the train station, and only the people with change
in their pockets to spend would hear about it!

Personally I've found since the invention of alcohol there's been little
time or call for anything else to be invented.

Cups would be nice though.

And odorless, too, which gets us right back to the entire nasal question.

How apt, I tend to walk in circles after alcohol. Now I'm in a circle
within a circle. I'm confused.

I need more drink!

I vote for that.

That's easy to say. We have to find a colour for them first! You know,
they have to be marketing'able so we can actually sell any.

Odourless? I wouldn't really say that. It might depend on the
individual nose, though.

And whether the circles in question *have* been fitted nasally. (Was that
requirement ever confirmed?)
