Fantasy artist Keith Parkinson passed away on Oct. 26 as a result of
leukemia. He was 47.
Among other subjects, he painted dragons, a number of which ended up as my
desktop background--he ranks among my personal favorite dragon artists
(along with Ciruelo Cabral, Larry Elmore, and perhaps a couple others).
http://www.keithparkinson.com/ has some of his work.

I never knew him, or had heard of him...but judging by that website he
was a good artist indeed. My condolences to anyone that his passing
away has affected. He'll be missed.
