I'm terribly sorry, but having had all this time to prepare, I was
caught up in all sorts of sidetracks, and was surprised by 'suddenly'
finding myself at the deadline with nothing more than an extended set
of notes of varying relevance ... ;-)
My efforts yesterday didn't bring me to a conclusion (though more than
half the way), so the posting of the weeks chapter in the CotW series,
/The Silmarillion/ -- Ainulindalė, will be due this evening (European
time).

I can only hope -- it is posted now, anyway (a small matter of some 541
lines ...)

I'm sure I'd have found a way to get out of a few more side-tracks ;-)
(I've re-read quite a lot during my studies, and always I found a very
interesting thing that I just /had/ to check up, even if it had no
relation to Ainulindalė any longer. I am, however, confident that this
phenomenon is not unknown to the rest of you <G>)
