You can't fault Leah for telling Luke that her "real mother died when she
(Leah) was very young." Someone obviously had to tell her this. Also, they
couldn't tell her that she died while giving birth becuase Leah would be
confused as to why she can remember "images and feelings" of her mother at
such a young age. Then her adopted partens would have to explain the whole
force thing, etc....

Just trying to make sense of it all for myself.

What do you guys think?

It's not Leah ("Lee") ... it's Leia ("Lay-Ah") ... after 28 years you'd
think people would know it by now....

That's not the point. Actually, that crusty dude with the white beard calls
her Leah when their looking over the Death Star plans.

Actually, no, he didn't. Best to get your facts straight before having a
'point'.

Go give it another listen chief. He definitively doesn't pronounce it the
way everyone else in the saga does...

Care to name this character, so there's no misunderstanding about who
you are referring to?

He's referring to General Dodonna. Leia is pronounced the same way by
Tarkin. A few names in Star Wars have multiple pronunciation. On Bespin
everybody changes the way they say Han and Boba is pronounced differently by
Taun We and Jango Fett.

It doesn't matter, since "Everyperson" has decided not pursue this any
further, before I got a chance to bring up lack of relation between
pronunciation and spelling. :-)

Why don't we pursue what my original post was about, not a spelling
error....

Once again, you haven't got your facts straight. I'm not the one who
started this tangent. That was "RobMac". And that's no reason to start
name-calling. ;-) If you want anyone to take your posts seriously, some
research and maturity is needed.
