I am trying to use my Ipod (20giga)with my new computer (Windows xp) but it
seems they can't match althought I've installed successfully the Ipod CD.
Anyone can help?

You need iTunes to "upload" songs to our iPod. Install iTunes, attach
the iPod to the data-cable and wait a few seconds (or minutes, like me).
Then iTunes should detect the iPod.

I've encountered the same problem with my Ipod. It was not detected as a
Ipod and a message box told me to format it as a PC unit. But this hint
was not successfully. The problem was still present after formatting the
Ipod. Also Itunes was not able to detect the iPod.
The reason was (and still is) a "buggy" USB interface at my laptop (SIS
645DX chip set). It seems to be a problem with unstable USB power.
I've "solved" the problem by using a powered USB hub or a Firewire cable.
