Bo is not the first person who ever maliciously published my personal
information to the open newsgroup. It's happened to me several times
now. FWIW, no one has burned a cross on my lawn yet.
No one has shot me dead. No one has called me in the middle of the
night, or turned up on my doorstep to harass me.
No one has kidnapped my bratty children. I keep hoping, but, no.
So far, the fact that all of my personal info has been repeatedly
published on the internet has brought me no negative effects whatsoever.
Usually what happens when this happens is I get some very friendly
emails from very nice people who deplore it, and who wish me well.
So, maybe people are nicer than Bo (and-those-of-that-ilk) think they
are. Maybe there really isn't this huge reservoir of hate that my
critics can unleash at will, like they think.
Or, maybe most wacky kooky violent, nasty harassing people really just
don't care as much as Bo does. Hey Bo, maybe if you want something done
you should get off your lazy ass and come and try to do it yourself.
:)
But from now on, whatever you do, I hope you will first ask yourself:
WHAT WOULD CAPTAIN KIRK DO?
