Dreamcatchers are such cool magic charms. ^_^ I've been having
nightmares and waking up the last few nights, so last night I made a
little dreamcatcer (my mother used to make them, so I know the basics)
and it worked great.
My father just asked if I'd had anymore nightmares, so I told him "no,
I made a dreamcatcher." He said I was being superstitous, so I
explained why dreamcatchers work--even for people who can't use other
magic--as long as you believe in them.
I said, "dreams are subconcious, and belief carries over to the
subconcious, so if you believe that you won't have nightmares because
you have a dreamcatcher hung over your bed, then you won't." ^_~

They can also help you to remember the good stuff that happened subconciously in
that way. dreams can come from stuff you think about at night or feelings you
have. Fear, trust, comfort, pain, are just a few examples of emotions that can
affect whether a dream is good or bad. Also if your focusing on alot of negative
stuff or are troubled in some way as opposed to focusing on the positive and not
so troubled can also affect it. Dreamcatchers help one to relax beleiving that
there is something there to catch the bad stuff before it gets to you in dreams.

I don't tend toward dreams at all. I wonder what a dreamcatcher would do

In order to have a lucid dream, you first need to have a dream..... And
still nothing other than those two I mentioned here a while back.....
Prolly why I'm having such problems sleeping..... The way I hear it, my
human host needs to dream to sleep properly.....

going from completel dream to lucid, try going from day dream instead.

That's the only time I have for daydreaming. Either on my way to work
(when I'm driving), at work (when I'm driving) and on my way home from
work (when I'm driving)..... If I could do without some sleep at the end
of the day, I could try daydreaming myself into sleep, but thus far
things have been way too hectic. At least this week promises to be
better with a 10 hour Monday rather than last weeks 12.5 hour Monday.....
