Damn I missed the 2nd part & it looks like they're not repeating it again,
unlike the Sci-fi channel that repeats everything ad-nauseum. Can someone
that saw it tell me a brief summary of how it ended after the guy that got
shot jumped into the ocean? Or a link to the whole story? Thanks!

Basically, the guy came back to the leading lady in her house (I forget
their names), but then he disappears again. Then, the group goes to some
salinization plant and plays a frequency which was isolated from the
video by the smart math dude. The guy shows up again and they capture
him with a net. At the end however, about 1000 people show up at the
plant. Apparently some people from the general population are affected
by the frequency as well. The group doesn't know why yet. Show ends.

The show was good enough to have me watch the whole pilot. I'll watch
the next episode and see how it goes.

It's been posted on the alt.binaries.multimedia group, if you have
broadband.

Show started off poorly but got better as it went along. Unfortunatly, I
don't see CBS as the correct network for it.

You left out the twist ending.
At night, the team drives away in a car, confident they're making good
progress. Then they get stuck in a Washington DC traffic jam, together
with a zillion other cars. And from a great height, we can see the
headlights of all those cars forming the alien fractal pattern.
