I would just like to thank everyone out there for your outpouring of =
support to the people directly affected by this disaster. Fortunately =
I'm not among them and neither is anyone I know personally. No group of =
people on this earth deserves the tragedy that accompanies any natural =
disaster. The one good thing that comes out of things like this is the =
willingness of people to put aside their differences and come to the aid =
of the victims. While some horrific behavior has taken place there in =
the past week (what the media likes to focus on), this disaster has =
definitely brought out the best in many. How people can lose absolutely =
everything and yet still insist on helping others is truly inspiring and =
I hope that these are the stories that get the most attention in the =
future. =20
Again, thank you to all of you for your compassion and support of these =
poor souls.
Andrea

Yes, I've been glued to CNN since this tragedy began since I like their
coverage of news events the most. Even Sri Lanka, after suffering their own
disaster, has pledged aid. How awesome.

What brought tears to my eyes just now is learning that Bangladesh has
offered us $1 million and rescue specialists; they sure have the
expertise. And they just called it "a token."
