Hi folks
The old FAQ refers to Nick Hughes' page of PGGB recipes hosted at
umich.edu, but all the links 404 (I assume he's left now and they've
deleted all his files). Would anyone be kind enough to forward a link
to where I could find this page elsewhere (or indeed mail me the txt
file)?
Thanks,
Thomas

The Internet Archive is your friend:
http://web.archive.org/web/20030412195918/www-personal.umd.u mich.edu/~nhughes/dna/docs/pggb.html
However, the page says it's an extract from project galactic guide, so a
much nicer version can be found here:
http://www.galactic-guide.com/articles/1S1.html

Thanks, but that's the one I can find everywhere.
I came across a long long long list of various different PGGB recipes
online, easily numbering about 30+, and I had it saved on my old
computer before it died a couple of years ago. It's this list I'm
looking for.

Okay, but unfortunately it seems that is not the one linked to from the
old FAQ.
If you can find the old URL the internet archive will probably have it...

Uhm, wasn't that what you did originally? Ask for the old contents of a
URL gone dead?
Oh well, I did spend some time time trying to find a list of drinks, but
didn't come up with much. Search Google Groups did provide a bit, but
nothing like a list with 30 drinks or anything close. I'm not sure why I
did spend so much time trying things you might as well have done
yourself (and probably already have), though...

Ah, yes. That was the reason :-)

That drink is certainly a lot stronger than any I can remember consuming...

I think that's the whole point, isn't it?

If you can remember it, then it probably wasn't a gargleblaster.

Good point, that man.
If you can remember that week, probably didn't drink any gargleblasters...
