Dear Group,
This is kind of an attending post to the question of good and evil in
Tolkien's world. Has anyone yet read Michael Aquino's _The
Morlindal=EB: The Song of Illuminate Darkness_? It is available for

Dr. Aquino has authored a couple of fan-fiction works reconsidering pop
culture mythologies from his own perspective, that of a devoted
real-life follower of Dark Side spirituality. (Another piece he
authored, _The Dark Side_, was a reconsideration of the Star Wars
mythos from the Dark Side of the Force (direct link:

I've only lightly skimmed _The Morlindal=EB_, but I would be interested
in addressing it more closely and in a comparative manner with
Tolkien's own works with anyone who found this to be a curious study.
