I suspect that Narcissa Malfoy has Had It With This Sh*t. She will
come to the conclusion that the only way to protect her son is if
somebody kills Voldemort *now*. This could provide an interesting
ally for Harry if he is willing to believe her.

I tend to agree. Depending on how Voldemort deals with Draco, he might
well agree with her, especially in contrast to the offer Dumbledore
made him.

I think it is interesting that there is no qualification to the second
part of the Vow she asked Snape to take, other than "to the best of
your ability". Does that mean Snape is stuck protecting Draco even now?
It seems to me that it does. Which makes three people in the Death
Eater camp that have potential conflicts of interest againt Voldemort.
(True independent of the issue of Snape's ultimate loyalties, if any).
