RECAP OF CHRIS JERICHO'S XM RADIO SHOW

1. Starts the show off with 2 Dangerous Toys songs:"Gunfighter" &
"Gimme No Lip".
2. Y2J says he's kicking it off on a Sunday night on The Rock Of

punch of the 2 Dangerous Toys songs that he just played. He says
he's kicking it off right & off of hellacious acres on this
week's show, says welcome & thanks you for joining him, says
again it's Sunday night on XM 41 Da Boneyard:

the dad of satellite radio, says it's not Howard Stern:

Little Richard or "Little Shecky Laru" from down the street &
says it's all about the jam with him.

He again says he's Chris Jericho, it's The Rock Of Jericho &
kicking ass on Sunday night to help you either end or begin your
week or whatever the side of the coin you're on. He says "Zappa
On Zappa" which has Dweezil Zappa is touring now & is playing all
Frank Zappa songs [NOTE FROM JEFF:It's actually called "Zappa
Plays Zappa" & here's the tour schedule:

know Frank Zappa, you know what he's talking about when he says
he's a bad as Mo'Fo & says if you're not sure as to who Frank
Zappa is & you just heard the name, you need to check out some
Zappa if you're into prog rock like Dream Theater because they do
lots of Zappa-esk type things in their music. He says Frank
always had stellar musicians playing with him like Terry Bozzio,
Mike Keneally, Virgil Donati, Vinnie Colaiuto, Bruce Wackerman &
says if you don't know any of these guys & are into music or
musicians, Zappa was kinda the guru to all of them. He says Zappa
was also a mentor to Steve Vai, says Steve's material is always
eclectic & corky & says it's because he learned from Zappa. He
says Steve got the job in Zappa when he was a fan, then
transcribed some of Zappa's music on some note pads & showed it
to Zappa. He says it's because it's very hard to transcribe
Zappa's music due to it being weird, wacky & weirdly tuned, then
says Zappa thought it was cool & asked Steve to transcribe some
more songs & Steve did it. He says Zappa then asked Steve to
transcribe 1 of the songs onto a piccolo, says Steve told Zappa
that you can't play these on a piccolo & Frank's response was
he's right. He says that was a trick question meaning if he
wanted to play in his band, says this is when Steve was either 17
or 18 he played with Zappa & then says Steve will play in "Zappa
On Zappa" [Zappa Plays Zappa"] for a while. He says Steve's
sitting in with him when the time's right, when he can, when he
wants to & says it's cool to him [Y2J] that Steve's respecting
his mentor enough to know that wants to respect him by playing
with his sons & says son Ahmet's involved also. He says some of
the eclectisism of Frank is rubbing off on Steve, says it shows
on the song "Ya-Yo Gakk" which's from the "Alien Love Secrets"
record & says the funny thing's that Steve's sampled his 2 year
old toddler son who couldn't talk yet & sampled some of his
gurgglings & jibberish & made them into a song. He says it's 1 of
his favorite Steve Vai songs because it's so funny & ingenius as
to how Steve included his son on a sampler & made it weeve onto
the track & also has some great guitar solos as well.
15. Plays Steve Vai's "Ya-Yo Gakk" & AC/DC's "Given The Dog A Bone".

17. Ends the show with Frameshift's "Blade" & the show ends at
9:59PM.

Bruce Wackerman is da shit!
Wasn't a piccolo, it was a clarinet.
But these are niggling details.
