According to TVShowsonDVD.com, Star Trek: The Animated Series - The
Complete Series on DVD has a street date of 21 November! No word yet
on extras. Two years ago, reports came forth that some extras were
being developed for a DVD release, but that was a project of Columbia
House's TV shows DVD service, which was abandoned. So, for those of
you who robbed three banks and bought all three seasons of Star Trek,
all seven seasons of TNG, DS9 and Voyager, all four seasons of
Enterprise and all ten movies in 2-disc collector's editions, make
room! Here's hoping this set is more appropriately priced than it
might otherwise have been since CBS, and not Paramount, is in control
now.
