Hi,
This might not be the right forum - if not, please forgive me.
I have a *legitimate* copy of the AfterDark Star Trek screensaver, (version 2.0b for Windoze 3.1).
Unfortunately the disks have a number of corrupt files.
Googling produced a number of warez sites offering illicit registrations I don't need but the program - no.
I've been Macced for a while (since I escaped from hospital) and my well-meaning relatives threw out my PC backups so I had no backups.
In any case I had nothing to install it on until recently.
Now I have but I can't find a download anywhere.
It was released (by the now-defunct Berkeley) as shareware.
Can anyone help?

A quick Google did not produce any results for me, either. If you know how
to use internet relay chat, I'd suggest you try one of the Trek chatrooms.
Start in Undernet. If they can't help you, they likely know someone who can
...

Thanks.
Unfortunately I'm currently unable to use IRC - or anything similar except ICQ and I don't use that.
This is a small computer with less than 10 mb RAM available.
The Windoze box is *never* connected to the web and my Mac is still in bits - I've just moved.
Bum (not an American imprecation), I'll just have to wait.

Yeah I got disk one only though...don't know where the others are. What's
the deal??

Hi Jerry, George and anyone else interested,
I was just sent zips of both AfterDark Star Trek screensaver disks.
It loaded onto my Windoze 98 laptop perfectly.
Some modules are a little fast(!) but most are fine.
I'll have to tweak the sound parameters a little on the laptop.
If anyone wants it, just eMail me from my website.
