Hello Trekkies,

I have here a Star Trek Original Klingon D'K Tahg Crystal Edition in
perfect condition.

What is the value I should get for it on e-bay ? I bought it for +-
500$ 6 years ago, but I want to sell it.

It is 40cm, gold, silver and Crystal ....

Thanks for any input !

I have no clue, but a good place to look would be to google it, and see
what it is currently
going for. It's worth what people will pay for it, which could range
from less than you paid to more, depending on a rarity and
demand--mostly, demand.

If you want to ebay it, I'd put a reserve on it, so that you don't have
to sell it if you don't get what you think it's worth.

If it's this -- Klingon D'k Tahg Dagger, Franklin Mint, Crystal
Edition--I found it on a Franklin Mint collectibles site, going for a
bit over a hundred bucks. No picture showed of it, so I dunno.

Most collectors will want not only perfect condition, but box and
authentication.

Good luck.

Oh, and by the way, you just insulted a bunch of Trekfen by calling
everyone "Trekkies". Most fans do not like being called that. It's
Trekfan, or Trekker. Not that there *aren't* Trekkies, but most of the
folk I know don't like being called one.

Hi Starshadow,

Thanks for your answer

I appologise to all the Trekkers for using the wrong name, but in Dutch
trekkers means something totally different ;-)

For those who want to see the object :

No need to apologize to all of us. Many us don't really care what
label you hang on us. I know I don't.

Yeah, that'd explain it.

Trekfan will do in English. Strange language.

My guess is it won't be worth what you paid for it. The only one I've
seen is selling for a hundred
bucks US "retail" which means that a collector MIGHT pay that much if
they wanted it. A person
hoping to resell it or buy it for investment won't even pay that much.

But if you go eBay, as I said, get a reserve price, so you won't have
to sell it for a few bucks US.

Otherwise, you'll be screwed even worse.

Good luck and groeten (am I spelling that right? Doing from memory) to
you as well.

Glad I was able to help. Anything for a fellow Trekfan. Well, almost
anything. *gryn*
