Notice that it says "Star Trek" and not "Enterprise" or "Voyager" or
"Deep Space Nine."

I think they meant "Star Trek" in any form, not the actual original
series.

Considering that older series like "Blake's 7" and "Fawlty Towers"
were also on that list, I don't think you can necessarily make that
assumption.

What part of,
"Originally broadcast in the US in 1966, it topped a poll of more than 1,000
viewers"
would make you think "Star Trek in any form," and not the actual original
series.

Saw that one too.
Number one: Star Trek and number two Buffy.
They are mine too.;)
Hence my first domain on the net.

Maybe not currently in the UK?

There you go again Wouter, applying some basic logic to things again. {{;-)>

I'm glad the people who wrote the article had a clear idea in their
minds that the original Star Trek series was distinct from the others.
Those anwering the poll may not.
On the other hand, even if it *is* the original series that most fans
miss, that longing is at least *partially* satisfied by its successors.

Wow. Over 1000 people polled. That sure respresents a high percentage of the
UK.
