Couldn't resist sending this, it made my jaw drop.
From Slashdot.com:
"For those Star Trek fans wondering what to ask for this Christmas, you may
wish to consider The Ultimate Star Trek Collection to be released on
November 15.
For just (cough) $2499.99, you'll get 212, count them, 212 DVDs with
everything ever produced under the name, including all seasons of all five
telvision series as well as the ten feature films. Before loading up your
disc changer and hitting play, remember to get up once in a while."
Regards
John Hopkins

For anyone that would buy this, wouldn't they already have at least
80% of that stuff?
Hell, I have almost half of it, and I haven't gone as spend crazy as
some.

ROFL! OMG! :)
Original ST fans are in the age group that can (hypothetically) afford it...
LOL, OMG, *I* could afford it, but to be blunt, I don't want all of it.
Whatever I want, I have already acquired.

I guess I'll have to drag that spare $2500 that I have from under the
mattress.

I could technically afford it too, but frankly $2500 is a bit rich for a set
of DVD's especially now that the market uptake is pretty well complete and
the stores are currently dropping the prices on the individual sets so they
can clear their shelves.
