anything. Please let him rest.
John Shocked doesn't care about you or your family.
He is a hate monger that figures by bashing you over
the head with the whole idea of "gayness" that you
will turn your eye to it all together and ignore all
things gay.
He hates gays and wants you to ignore him and
his ilk that want to persecute gays. I am gay but
I don't come to this newsgroup to talk about it!
I want to talk about Trek. Damn it.

I asked them to ignore the little shit, but they didn't listen to me.

Take back our NG. We want to talk about Star Trek in all its
incarnations, and about the Star Trek universe in general, and about
Star Trek books, games, fan-fiction, etc.
This is the oldest, most venerable Star Trek newsgroup. We've been here
as long as usenet has been here. We have plenty of Star Trek related
things to talk about.
The latest troll invasion will disappear like morning dew eventually.
In the meantime, hold fast and remember who we are.
It's not just "John Shocked": it's everybody who participates in those
threads. Most of them are part of a gang. Ignore those threads, and
post only Star Trek related material to this NG - in ST-only threads.

Agree wholeheartedly. Isn't this a ST newsgroup, not a religious /
political one?
So, did you download the full Star Wreck movie yet? 1 hour and 45 minutes,
and 532 MB - and this guy made it "in his living room" o_O Too much
vodka seems to have been present if you ask me ^_^ The visual effects are
really good though!
Should I laugh that the first ship Pirk manages to build is a Sovereign or
just shake my head in disbelief?
