ConPoll
Hello. I have set up a survey about conventions and am asking anyone
willing to please complete it. In the past 3 years I have attended,
volunteered, or worked as staff at several sci-fi/trek conventions and
have heard a lot of praise, complaints, suggestions, etc. and have
decided to try and get a broader and rounder idea of what people really
think about them and what they would want to see happen at them. I am
not, and this survey is not, affiliated with any convention company.

The survey is kind of long -- 61 questions -- but not all questions are
required to complete the survey.

The idea to setup the survey came when a friend with whom I attended
conventions and I began reminiscing and discussing what made some of
the cons succeed, and others fail miserably.

Here is the link -- http://neveroddoreven.stormpages.com/survey.html or
http://www.conventionsurvey.tk. It is setup in 3 parts as it is an
offsite survey (I have no access to a CGI account to set it up on
personally.)

Thank you for your participation.

I don't have the patience to fill out your survvey but I'll give you my
..02 cents. The best part is hearing them chat onstage, and field questions.
I'm not a hero whorshipper or autograph collector. The trade show is boring
and a ripoff of the poor geeks that must have an Wil Wheaton autographed pic
for $50. It is fun, though one day is enough for me, and I don't know if I
will go to another one.
