(August 15th entry)

Not sure when it'll actually be done, I've got a lot of other projects
I'm currently working on so it's pretty variable at this point. It's
gonna be REAL neat though, I'm gonna take the same high level video
editing skills I gained through the AMV community and I'm going to
apply them to the faux trailer. If you check out the "Feeling This"
video on my main Backwater site it'll give you a rough idea of the
kind of action synch I'll be using (only that AMV represents my skills
in video editing over a year ago, I've since improved greatly).

The trailer will revolve mostly around a dominion uprising.
Essentially after Odo cures his people he's unable to convince them
that the solids are okey dokey and they basically go a lil psychotic
after suffering such humiliation (after all, they did posture
themselves as Gods and inherently superior to the solids, that's not
something that just passes easily). So basically Odo escapes, Sisko
winds up back (the trailer won't really go into any sort of
explanation although it'll show his arrival) and then there's a giant
fucking WAR, EXPLOSIONS, SPACE FIGHTS, ACTION SYNCH, BADASS MUSIC!
Heh, it's gonna be neat. The hard part comes in creating new scenes
using footage from the original DS9 series. Gonna be using a lot of
split form editing techniques, kinda like how I did the promo banner
on my blog site. Anyway, I thought I might go ahead and generate a
lil hype for it, I'll let ya all know when it's done.

Really? Is there like some kind of prize for "generating traffic"?
No offense or anything, but if I REALLY wanted to generate traffic I
can think of at least a good half dozen froups with about 5 to 10
times the amount of daily traffic as teh Trek froups. *shrugs*

>for your gawd awful blog,

I'd like to think of it more as a "Jesus killing blog", myself.

OMG WTF I'M TEH TROLL?!

I have more talent in a single crotch hair than you'll ever have in
your entire miserable fucking little existence, Kiddo...now covet it!
`, )

And just so there's no confusion...yes, I am a troll...the best
there's ever been in fact. Yes, I am an arrogant bastard of the
highest order. Yes, I will verbally slap you around like a bitch if
it suddenly strikes my fancy. Yes, I do use my incredible knowledge
to create things like the faux movie trailer. I do so for the love of
the art, pushing my skills beyond their existing limits...and
yes...bragging rights. ^_^

Don't like it? Do better. Come on, bitch, why don't you try and show
me up? BTW, that's something else I love...competition and rivalry.
That might be a newer concept to the Trek communities, it's something
that's fueled teh AMV communities though. The incredible level of
video editing skill found in that community revolves heavily around
fierce competition. A lil reading...if yer interested...

To be perfectly honest John Boi, the only one whose trolling at the
moment...is you. And um, you're REALLY not doing a very good job of
it either. *shrugs*
