Hi
In first episode of DS9 of season 4, worf comes to the DS9. He keeps saying
how enterprise-d was destroyed and he can't adjust to it. What the hell is
he talking about, when did this happen and what supposedly happened to the
crew of the enterprise? thanks

Watch the movie "Generations". The Enterprise-D is destroyed
towards the end; they get in a battle with a ship that knows
their shield frequencies, so they are defenceless. They win,
but the warp core is damaged; they detach the saucer, the
engineering hull explodes, the saucer crashlands on a planet
and is wrecked. Everybody survives but the saucer is a total
loss.

....the biggest waste of a starship (and plot line) I've ever seen. Why
didn't they just name it "Star Trek:Change (because we can)" and get the
pretend-we-care attitude out in the open??

Hmmm... good question. I imagine not though, if I remember right (it's been
a while since I've seen the movie), I think I remember seeing the tank broken.
They could ave always grill up what's left of them for a little snack.
